Hi Everybody, Chris here from QSC
0:10
In this video We're going to show you how to navigate the user interface pannel on a K.2 speaker
0:16
The K.2 series offers a new user interface Experience.
0:20
Channel A has the ability line or Mic level input.
0:24
Channel B can be line or Hi-Z instrument level input for a passive pick-up system
0:30
The Preset section gives the ability to select one of eleven different presets based on your application
0:36
Everything from live presets to instrument presets, all the way to a studio preset for studio mixing
0:42
An adjustable crossover allows you to select a crossover frequency
0:45
that matches the subwoofer that you're using with your PA system.
0:49
Up to one hundred miliseconds of delay time can be added to the box
0:52
And a four band parametric EQ can be adjusted to tailor the sound that you'd like
0:57
And in the settings section- You can save it all as a scene and recall it later, once you've got it dialed in
1:03
With your independent gain controls for each channel, you'll see we have a third input
1:07
with a eighth inch or three point five milimeter stereo jack
1:11
So now you can plug your phone or personal music player device directly in to the speaker
1:16
Channels A and B have either an XLR or balanced quarter inch combo input
1:21
The XLR outs directly underneath are parallel line level pre-gain outputs,
1:26
that can be taken to a mixer or daisy chained to another speaker without affecting the signal
1:31
And then the mix out is a post-gain mix output of all three channels summed together
1:36
Now that you know how the user interface works on the K.2 speaker, you can connect, adjust,
1:41
and tailor your sound to be just the way you want it.
